Zanthoxylum panamense P. Wilson, a tree in the Rutaceae. Most of this genus is characterized by sharp spines on the trunk and branches, and, like the rest of the family, translucent punctuations (oil glands) on the leaves. Un árbol. La mayoría del género tiene espinas agudas en las ramas y el tronco y como en el resto de la familia, puntos translúcidos debidos a las glándulas de aceite en las hojas.
